“Different, Not Less” 10x8 Acrylics on gesso board —————————————— When the awareness months that have affected me or people in my life pop up I try my best to create something for that specific cause. This was pure accident as one of my wife’s coworkers had discussed a tattoo idea regarding Autism with me and my brain in its usual fashion took a very small simple idea and just ran with it. I think I finally clotheslined it about 10 miles down the way and got it contained…but too late the idea was already stuck and had began growing roots in my brain. I tried to utilize every part of my knowledge on neurodivergence to make this. From the need to have strict order and then when it all falls apart the chaos that can enfold.
